Stud farm and equestrian centre MCV Izovi - Opitsvet village 

The kingdom of the trakehner horses in Bulgaria is situated 15 km west from Sofia (towards Kalotina) - in Opitsvet village. For professionally oriented, demanding and amateur riders.

The centre has: modern stables with 90 spacious and well-lit boxes, horse bathroom, paddocks for free walks of the horses, covered ring for training of young horses, indoor arena by european example - sizes 20 x 60 m, with 80 seats for spectators, bedding from quartz sand and synthetic and an outdoor sand arena. MCV izovi offers boarding for horses: looking aafter and feeding the horses with food, chosen by the customer. The offer is combined with training of horses on request of the customers.

The riding lessons for amateurs and professionals are realised by a german system, according to the riders' skill level. Possibility for field riding among the beautiful nature on various routes in the vicinity of Opitsvet Village, which is ecologically clean and is included in Natura 2000 programme. The training horses of the trakehner breed are 12. For children under 6 years walks with ponies are offered. The centre has modern and rich tack room (safety helmets and vests), changing rooms and bathrooms for customers. 

The restaurant in the complex has a cozy fireplace during the winter and has a large garden in the summer days. It has a barbeque, flower garden with a lot of greenery, original bulgarian cuisine and homemade delicacies. Possibilities for family holidays, children's birhtdays with outdoor games and company parties. 

* Horse sport club "MCV Opitsvet" is a member of BEF and has serious successes in the discipline jumping, and one of the club's competitors is on the national team, participant in european tournaments. The competitors of the club are preparing under the lead of professional instructors and trainers. 

* Stud farm "MCV Izovi" is a full-fledged member of the German trakehner association (TRAKEHNER VERBAND). In 2007 the horses recieved an exceptionally high evaluation from representatives of the German association, with which the breed was officially acknowledged in Bulgaria. In 2008 from Germany the licensed for a sire stallion Preussenprinz was purchased, and in 2012 the stallion Prince Patmos. The german association fully supports the breeding activity, realised in "MCV Izovi" stud farm, which is on a european level. Since September 2009 german specialists perform branding with the sign of the Trakehner breed, which is an excpetional event for bulgarian horse breeding. Since then every year the new generations are branded as a part of the breed and receive german pasports.
